<p>Something goes very wrong: a break down in communication or the internet&#8230;it doesn&#8217;t matter. I could not view the information so a sale is lost. You can&#8217;t afford to have that occur in your business. What went wrong?</p>

<p>1) It doesn&#8217;t matter if you are making it too hard for your customers to do business with you then you are leaving thousands of dollars on the table.<br />
2) When a product launches or in the internet marketing world relaunches several times you&#8217;d had better have a key person on board during the entire launch who can correct the problem immediately.<br />
3) At the very least utilize a hired represntative who can interact with your customer immediately. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I can go into almost any business and release thousands of dollars of revenue and profit, literally overnight.  How can I do this because I tap into ‘The Acres Of Diamonds Principle’ that every business possesses.  </p>
<p>What is the ‘Acres Of Diamonds Principle’.  It is one of the most powerful unforgettable stories that has impacted my life tremendously.  One of the most interesting Americans who lived in the 19th century was a man by the name of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell_Conwell">Russell Herman Conwell.</a>  He was born in 1843 and lived until 1925.  He was a lawyer for about fifteen years until he became a clergyman.</p>
<p>One day, a young man went to him and told him he wanted a college education but couldn’t swing it financially.  Dr. Conwell decided, at that moment, what his aim in life was, besides being a man of cloth &#8211; that is.  He decided to build a university for unfortunate, but deserving students.  He did have a challenge, however.  He would need a few million dollars to build the university.  For Dr. Conwell, and anyone with a real purpose in life, nothing could stand in the way of his dream.</p>
<p>Several years before this incident, Dr. Conwell was tremendously intrigued by a true story &#8211; with its ageless moral.  The story was about a farmer who lived in Africa and through a visitor became tremendously excited about looking for diamonds.</p>
<p>Diamonds were already discovered in abundance on the African continent and this farmer got so excited about the idea of millions of dollars that he sold his farm to head out to the diamond line.  He wandered all over the continent, as the years slipped by, constantly searching for diamonds, and wealth, which he never found.  Eventually he went completely broke and threw himself into a river and drowned.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, the new owner of his farm picked up an unusual looking rock about the size of a country egg and put it on his mantle out of  curiosity.  A visitor stopped by and in viewing the rock practically went into terminal convulsions.  He told the new owner of the farm that the funny looking rock on his mantle was about the biggest diamond that had ever been found.  The new owner of the farm said, “Heck, the whole farm is covered with them” &#8211; and sure enough it was.</p>
<p>The farm turned out to be the Kimberly Diamond Mine…the richest the world has ever known. The original farmer was literally standing on an ‘Acres of  Diamonds’ until he sold his farm. Dr. Conwell learned from the story of the farmer and continued to teach its’ moral.  Each of us is right in the middle of our own ‘Acre of Diamonds’ if only we would realize it and develop the ground we are standing on before charging off in search of greener pastures.  </p>
<p>Dr. Conwell told this story many times and attracted enormous audiences.  He told the story long enough to have raised the money to start the college for underprivileged deserving students.  In fact, he raised nearly six million dollars and the university he founded, Temple University in Philadelphia. When Doctor Russell H. Conwell talked about each of us being right on our own ‘Acre of Diamonds’, he meant it.  This story does not get old… it will be true forever… Opportunity does not just come along &#8211; it is there all the time &#8211; we just have to see it.</p>
<p>I am grateful for Russell Conwell’s vision to make education affordable to individuals (like me)  who did not have the money to attend college. What is in your backyard?  In today’s economy it cannot be stressed enough now is the time to look for your Acre Of Diamonds. </p>
<p><strong>P.S. On a personal note my Acres of Diamonds #1 raving fan was Edward Winder, who helped me believe anything was possible.  This post is in loving memory of Edward Winder whose birthday is today.</strong></p>

<p>The problem with business owners is they are willing to accept the C too often and just get by instead of fighting for the A. What grade is your business? Are you accepting we are in a recession time so coasting is ok. History teaches us the economy has dips but always recovers.</p>
<p>Stop waiting&#8230;be aggressive and never stop marketing. Stop leaving money on the table for your competitors to gain the edge.</p>

<p>The average selling price for a single Super Bowl XLII ticket was $4,451 yesterday on resale site StubHub.com &#8211; about $450 more than last year &#8211; but asking prices ran as high as $18,500 for one main premium seat at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.</p>
<p>Scottsdale, AZ saw over 1 million additional visitors which helped all the local establishments see increased revenues.<br />
If a superbowl ticket can run as high as $18,000, those people are paying for the &#8220;experience&#8221; to be there.</p>
<p>What is your business doing to make sure your customer has an &#8220;experience&#8221; while doing business with you that will unforgettable and make the customer pay more money to do business with you in the future.</p>

I do however believe everyone is equipped to make money but it is all about attitude.   You must have a certain mindset.  You must take action and not stay in the same place for too long because if you do, you stop learning. </p>
<p>Ask yourself these questions, &#8220;When will I take action?&#8221;  When will I turn the corner and do things a different way?&#8221; Now look in the mirror and repeat your answers.  Watch the difference in how you look and feel if you make strong commitments to take action and if you cannot look in the mirror and say it&#8230;Then keep going back to that mirror until you can.</p>

<p>If you were to ask fifteen (15) influential experts what&#8217;s necessary to become successful in an online or offline business, there&#8217;s no doubt you&#8217;d get quite an assortment of answers.The advice from the various gurus would vary tremendously of what they considered “most important” to succeed with an on-line and offline business.You would hear advice: you must write long sales letters vs. short sales letters;  you need a website;  the opt-in box must be on the first page of the website; the money is in the list; postcard marketing is the best direct mail approach; you must become a professional speaker; you must have you own products to sell; you must have an affiliate program to make money; you need a PR firm to market your product(s); the money is in high-priced seminars….And the advice goes on and on… The fact is that growing a successful  business will likely require many of those items eventually, and more. But there IS one item, one single aspect of success that seems to be true for all businesses that you must be ready to tolerate that it takes a lot of trial and error and false starts of what appear to be the direction to take in your business.</p>
<p>However, if you preserve, keep a positive attitude, have quantifiable results to measure, utilize time management properly, ask for help, model successful people, hire consultants and coaches, you will achieve more than you ever dreamed was possible.</p>
